legal-thriller series. Both types of mysteries are set predominantly in
Boston, Massachusetts, though individual books, as detailed later, take
the characters to other cities (like Washington, D.C., Fort Lauderdale,
and Pittsburgh) and even to very different regions (rural Maine,
"Big-Sky" country, and the Florida Keys).
